Broadway Limited HO Scale New York Central NYC GP35 #6143 DC Version 8225. Ubiquitous on American railroads, the EMD GP35 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD and subsequently General Motors Diesel in the mid 1960's. Over 1300 of these locomotives were produced, and they were operated by virtually every major railroad in the United States. Addtionally 26 units were built for Canadian railroads and another 57 units were built for Mexican railroads. In our first production, we are modeling ten railroads with prototypically accurate road numbers and paint schemes.
In addition to the Paragon4 version, each model is available in our Stealth Series. These are No-Sound / DCC-Ready models that operate on DC out of the box, or a modeler can easily install their DCC decoder of choice. Out of the box, Front and rear lights are directional, and other lights are always ON with track power. Additionally some lighting functions may be missing depending on selected aftermarket decoder the modeler installs.

Stealth Series - Model is DCC-Ready out of the box. Out of the box, front and rear lights are directional. Other lights are ON with track power. Model comes with 8 ohm speaker installed for easy installation of DCC/Sound decoder. Precision Drive Mechanism Engineered for Heavy Towing and Smooth Slow Speed Operation.
ABS Body with Die Cast Chassis for Maximum Tractive Effort. Prototypically Accurate Paint Schemes and Road Numbers.
Many Separately Applied Details such as Handrails, Grab Irons, Horn, Bell, Wipers, and Etched Metal Grills. Will Operate on Code 70, Code 83, and Code 100 Rail. Minimum Operating Radius: 18 inches. We are an authorized Broadway Limited dealer.
