STILL IN ORIGINAL BOX AND NEVER RUN. ONE WAS REMOVED FROM BOX FOR PICTURE TAKING FOR THIS LISTING. FROM A PET-FREE AND SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT.

THEY HAVE AN 8-PIN PLUG TO BE ABLE TO MAKE IT DCC OPERABLE. DCC DECODER IS NOT INCLUDED. SEE THE PHOTO OF THE INSTRUCTION SHEET OF ADDING A DCC DECODER.

THEIRS WAS A DCC LAYOUT AND THIS DC LOCOMOTIVE WOULD NOT OPERATE ON IT AT ALL. THEY CAME BACK TO ME AND I GAVE THEM ANOTHER ONE TO TRY, WITH THE SAME NON-RESULTS. WE THEN WENT OVER TO A TEST TRACK, WHICH IS ONLY DC, AND IT RAN LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO. THEY WERE SATISFIED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO INSTALL A DCC DECODER FOR IT TO WORK ON BOTH.
