This is the factory-lighted version from Walthers Proto, featuring a stainless-steel Budd-style body, dome seating, factory-installed grab irons, turned metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers.

I bought this as New Old Stock. It appears brand new unless specifically noted otherwise. Car Type: 85' Budd Dome Coach. Couplers: Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. The Budd dome coach was one of the most recognizable passenger-car designs of the streamlined era.
