The attention to detail is evident in the O scale and gauge, making it a true representation of the real thing. This is the first of several Commodore Vanderbilt locomotives that Lionel produced beginning in 1996. This first locomotive was painted in a bright silver scheme that turned out to be incorrect when compared to the original New York Central locomotive. Has been Gently run- see photos for wheels and roller wear. Please get a Lionel Authorized tune up- (or of course your own if you are a seasoned operator)before putting her to work.
