The NYC had over 2,000 of the standard wood cabooses with their distinctive low cupolas. They lasted from 1910 into the Penn Central era.

The Rutland also had many cabooses exactly like the NYC cabooses. Many NYC and Rutland cabooses still survive today. Here is the only plastic RTR model of this distinctive caboose.

C10 grading, there is no wheel wear at all and the model is complete. Only a few NYC cabooses were ever produced by Trix, but now you can add this distinctive caboose to your railroad.
