American Locomotive Company Builder's Plate Schenectady 1907 - 13 1/2 x 7 1/2. Original builders plate from the American Locomotive Company.
Has the original patina on the front and back and is in great shape. Is made of solid brass or bronze (not tested but brass probably wouldnt have held up as good as this did so Im thinking bronze). Measures around 13 1/2 inches long and around 7 1/2 inches tall. Is very heavy and has no major damage or cracking. Is dated January 1907 and from the Schenectady works, as well as being #41552. This plate is from a New York Central 2-8-0, locomotive #2860, according to the ALCO builder records. The item "American Locomotive Co.
