This locomotive is new, therefore we consider it to be in mint condition (please see images and make your own grade accordingly). Packaging shows some signs of shelf wear. Manufacturers part # - 9512.

Livery - New York Central Black/Grey/White. Bi-directional red and green LED marker lamps that work in DCC and analog mode. Five-pole skewed armature motor with dual flywheels for optimum performance at all speeds.

Factory-equipped with AccuMate® knuckle couplers. Separately-installed scale windshield wipers and fine scale handrails. Separately-applied coupler cut levers and trainline hoses. Separately-applied fuel tank skirt as appropriate by railroad.

AAR-B or FM-style truck sideframes as appropriate by railroad. Gold version will be sound equipped with ESU Loksound. Atlas Silver Sound Ready models are equipped with a speaker for easy conversion to sound with the addition of a decoder. Sound Functionality Featur es (Gold Models Only). Over 20 sound effects are available, including engine start-up and shutdown, prime mover sounds through all eight notches, bell, air horn, air compressor, dynamic brakes and more.

There are 16 user-selectable horns, 2 user-selectable bells, and 2 user-selectable synchronized brake squeals. Manual and Automatic Notching modes with the ability to change modes "on the fly" are provided for true realism.
