Lionel 6-18598 O Scale New York Central RS-11 Diesel Locomotive withTMCC #8010

  

This sale is for one used but excellent Lionel Alco RS-11 Diesel Locomotive in a New York Central paint scheme. Looks great and runs great under TMCC. I have to way to test conventional operation. With original Lionel RS-11 box for another road name.

I added a label with the correct Lionel part number and road name (see pic of box end). This engine also has one minor flaw--the one-inch or so chain that prevents a person from stepping off the short-front end is missing. This is an easy piece to replace with a small jewelry-type chain. It's probably laying on my layout somewhere! I personally think that the Also RS-series is the epitome of a god ooking Diesel.

The RS-11 has all the curves in the right places and doesn't have front and back ends that look all "chopped up" like some of the later Alco and EMD diesels.
