These items show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. These items show spots of rust on the chassis and trucks.

The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included.

This is a Marx 333 New York Central 4-6-2 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive and Tender. Features include a powerful motor with reverse unit, an operating headlight, die-cast metal wheels, gears, and chassis.

The tender is die-cast and features tinplate metal trucks, metal wheels and axles, and a wedge coupler. Please see my pictures for additional features. Introduced in its prototype form in the late 19th century, the 4-6-2 would take the world by storm at the turn of the 20th century, being seen as one of the biggest innovation in the history of locomotives -- the 4-6-2 would quickly finds its place in rail-yards across the world. Traveling at speeds upwards of 100mph the 4-6-2was featured on rail-ways ranging from Argentina to Egypt, and all the way to the far East in China! Now's your chance to add some history to your collection. Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor surface rust, no dents.
