NYCS Etched Amber Railroad Lantern Globe, New York Central System, CNX

  

Up for consideration is a vintage New York Central System railroad lantern amber globe. The globe is etched with "NYCS" & embossed with CNX. The back side has a large etched-out block were something appears to have been covered over. Mounting surfaces have numerous small chips. I took the best pictures I could but struggle with reflection.
