B UNIT - NON- POWERED DUMMY. IN BOX- BOX SHOWS WEAR. This is an MTH 20-2176-1 New York Central F-3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set with ProtoSound from 1998. Features include 4 precision flywheel equipped motors, a ProtoSound electronic reverse unit, remote controlled protocouplers, includes ProtoSound digital sound with squeaking brakes and passenger station sounds by QSI. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0.

Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions. 4-precision flywheel equipped motors (2 in each A-unit). Digital sound system with squeaking brakes, passenger station sounds and more. 1/4 Scale detail and dimensions. All metal wheels and gears.

Compatible with most AC transformers. Die-cast truck sides, pilot and fuel tank.
