Sharp Postwar Lionel 2344 New York Central F3 AA

  

This is a very nice set of Postwar Lionel 2344 New York Centrals. This set has been serviced and lubricated. E-unit cycles forward Neutral and reverse. Horn worked intermittently however it sounded multiple times while being test run.

Both the Power A unit and the dummy unit have had their frames refinished along with their truck sides and pilots. Set was missing the the original portholes so weathered reproduction portholes have been added. Shells are in excellent condition as shown in listing photos with less than average play wear. There are no cracks or breaks and all screw mounting holes are in good condition. New York Central lettering and strips are crisp and unfaded.

Roofs are not sagging or bowing from warpage typically seen on early Postwar F's. Set is in excellent condition and runs great.

Comes with two reproduction Lionel box's and a copy of instructions. I have a matching B-unit as well as two other sets of New York Centrals listed so be sure to look those over as well.
