This is a Used Lionel 6-34519 New York Central Sharknose AA Diesel Set. The AA set comes in the original box that has some wear as one of the edges is squished, please view the photos. Comes with the owner's manual and two orange Legacy memory modules.
This is a fantastic looking model all around with great detailing. Has no noticeable damage and the paint is excellent. No scratches and all of the lettering is legible. Tested with a Lionel 990 Legacy System and it runs well. All of the features such as the sounds, lights, electro-couplers, and smoke unit work. Overall is a pretty great running model that would make for an excellent addition to one's collection. First introduced in 1950, the Baldwin RF-16 diesel locomotive featured a speciale "Sharknose" body style that distinguished it from its competitors. Lionel offers the RF-16 Sharknose decorated in New York Central's black lightning stripe scheme. This handsome A-A set features the LEGACY Control System, Odyssey II Speed Control, and LEGACY RailSounds.LEGACY Control System equipped - able to run in LEGACY Control mode, in TrainMaster Command Control mode, or in Conventional mode with a standard transformer.
