Used Lionel 6-8406 O Gauge Die-Cast New York Central Hudson w/Box. This is a previously owned and used Lionel 6-8406 O Gauge Die-Cast New York Central Hudson. Is from a smoke free collector's home and comes in its original box along with the instructions. We tested the model and it runs forward but the e-unit does not cycle.

We have tried changing the plug position in the cab and still the e-unit does not cycle. The model runs forward pretty smoothly, has a operating headlight, puffing smoke unit, and basic steam sounds. The rear coupler does not spring open as the knuckle spring is worn. The coupler still locks close and can be opened, but just will not spring open when pressing the uncoupling tab. Along the left side running board of the boiler there is a slight bend at the edge.

Some paint chips and scratches but overall is fairly nice for its age with clean lettering. Please view the photos carefully. Model has a diecast metal boiler and tender with a fine level of molded in detailing. Overall is a great looking engine that would make for a nice addition to one's collection. O Gauge Track Not Included.
