But no beauty has ever made a more star-crossed entrance as the new Empire State Express rolled out on December 7, 1941. Features include an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, illuminated Marker lights and firebox, detailed cab interior, die-cast boiler and tender, separate metal grab rails and steps, 6-wheel die-cast trucks on tender, a rear directional light on tender and an electrocoupler on rear of tender. The minimum curve radius is O-31. It measures 21 inches long.
